HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KANKER PAYUDARA\ud DENGAN SIKAP SADARI PADA WANITA USIA 20-39 TAHUN\ud DI DUSUN PUCANGANOM KECAMATAN MOYUDAN\ud SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 2011

Knowledge of breast cancer is the result of knowing someone on the growth\ud of cells refers to malignant tumors in the breast. Breast self examination is a\ud closed attitude of a person's response to breast self examination. Based on\ud preliminary studies, there are two women affected by breast cancer, a woman was\ud declared dead and a woman again still survive. The purpose of this study was to\ud determine the relationship of knowledge about breast cancer with the attitude of\ud breast self examination in women aged 20-39 years in the hamlet Pucanganom\ud Moyudan Sleman district of Yogyakarta in 2011.\ud This study uses an analytical survey method with cross sectional approach to\ud time. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the number of\ud respondents 35 people. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire enclosed.\ud Processing data using Kendall Tau test statistic.\ud The results demonstrate knowledge of breast cancer expressed high total of 18\ud respondents (51.4%), a good attitude toward breast self examination were 22\ud respondents (62.9%), and there is a relationship of knowledge about breast cancer\ud challenged by breast self examination attitudes, with the value (τ) 0.366,\ud significance level (ρ) 0.004 (p
