This is an evaluation of the ‘Indigenous rough sleeping – Townsville project’, one of several Homelessness Service Integration Demonstration Projects (HSIDPs) funded across Australia in 2010. The aims of these projects were to help create an integrated approach to homelessness reduction at the local level and to improve overall understanding of local service integration processes. The HSIDPs were part of a wider emphasis on service integration in the national homelessness reform strategy initiated in 2008 and being implemented through the National Partnership Agreement (NPA) on Homelessness
