This chapter discusses the integration of digital libraries and Web based distance education systems. It shows how useful this integration can be in terms of storing, searching, sharing, maintaining and using courseware due to the consolidated library practices of managing information. Some technical aspects on the identification of the Learning Objects (LO\u27s) are addressed as well as the basic functions of the system. Results of such an implementation are presented
