Recently, people used to stay indoors much longer than before and comfort of the indoor environment has become an important issue. The comfort of indoor environment is determined by physical environments, such as temperature, humidity and individual factors, such as gender and habits. The comfort of indoor environment can affect psychological comfort, as well as health. Many elements of thermal environment, either alone or in combination can affect health, but authors are going to mainly focus on the effects of temperature.
