OBJECTIVE-Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)alpha/gamma dual agonists have been developed to alleviate metabolic disorders. However, several PPAR alpha/gamma dual agonists are accompanied with unwanted side effects, including body weight gain, edema, and tissue failure.
