New phenomena, properties, and functions contributing to advanced sciences can be discovered, examined, and developed in nanospaces. Sophisticated design of molecular hosts and their assemblies can provide excellent nanospaces with predictable properties for accommodation of functional molecules, where supramolecular chemistry has been playing a central role. In this review, we briefly summarize recent developments in supramolecular approaches to nanospace fabrication for advanced sciences.
