Ideologi Pancasila Dan Lunturnya Jati Diri Bangsa Sebuah Tinjauan Historis

Pancasila has not only become the ideology of Indonesian but has also become spirit of Indonesian, personality of Indonesian, way of life, the main basic law, and the principal of daily life of Indonesian. Pancasila as the personality of Indonesian should be fully comprehended and practiced in the daily life. Historically, Pancasila has cultural values from the past which are very valuable because it contains rules and perception of life dealing with religious life. This research uses historical approach. It performs thoughts and point of views from influential figures in the past, such as Soekarno and Ki Hajar Dewantara, about how the entrance of western culture in Indonesia can bring a lot of influences in Indonesian culture. Type of change which caused negative transformation of moral, way of life, characteristics of Indonesian, especially the lost of Pancasila ideology. Based on that issue, sooner or later, as a nation who was a strong characteristic, we need to fix this cultural distraction. One of the way to do that is by looking back and re-comprehending the values in Pancasila, which let us remember the great history and culture this country had.
