Should acute Q-fever patients be screened for valvulopathy to prevent endocarditis?

Echocardiographic screening of acute Q-fever patients and antibiotic prophylaxis for patients with cardiac valvulopathy are considered an important approach to prevent chronic Q-fever-related endocarditis.
