The biotransformation of diester-diterpenoid alkaloids, monoester-diterpenoid alkaloids and lipo-alkaloids in compound recipe was studied by electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry and a method of semiquantitative EST-MS was established for analysis of aconitum alkaloids before and after metabolism.
