This paper expands on an earlier expository study into exchanges between Chinese and Western firms that conflate to form triadic structures within the complex international marketing context of China. Within this continuing expository study, the macro-positions of Chinese and Western firms involved in triadic exchange interactions are explored. Prior research is extended to uncover fuzzy Chinese business networks. Mechanisms from which Hong Kong intermediaries develop their positions in fuzzy Chinese networks are discussed
