Larry Thompson to participate in conference on overcriminalization and excessive punishment

Sibley Professor Larry D. Thompson will participate in the upcoming colloquium Overcriminalization/Excessive Punishment: Uncoupling Pipelines in Prison at Yale University Law School, during December. This invitation-only symposium will feature jurists, prosecutors, defense attorneys, prison officials, educators and scholars with the goal of examining the overreliance on the criminal law and the daunting realities of the high rates of incarceration in the U.S
