The panelists describe three ways in which they teach social justice. Mary Nicol Bowman and Ada Shen-Jaffe will discuss their first year elective, Lawyering for a Just and Humane World, which provides active learning opportunities for interviewing and negotiation, creative problem-solving, leadership capacities of justice work, reflection, strategic and systems thinking, policy advocacy, multi-forum lawyering, and cross-difference interaction and understanding.
