This thesis has been developed in a co-supervision between the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Université Pierre et Marie Curie.First, I describe tests performed on two occultation kits, each consisting in a fast camera, a time registration system and an acquisition software. Additionally, observed several stellar occultations by TNOs and Centaurs, including the one that lead to the discovery of Chariklo's rings.Then, I study the physical characterization of three object with the analysis of stellar occultations.
