The result of the cross-check and empirical study shows that while interpolating coal nature data of a coalfield, the method of geological statistics is superior to ordinary means, including the methods of inverse distance, multinomial interpolation, and radial-base function. Additionally, with using the general and universal Kriging methods, the most accurate results were obtained by applying the Kriging spherical models
