Formación del profesorado de primaria para atender a contextos de marginalidad

International audienceThe objective of this study is to determine the current situation of the training of those teachers that work in marginalization environments. The literature review show that some prime importance aspects, such as, to assess the reality of the context of students who live in exclusion or are forthcoming to it, are not adequately addressed. The study addresses the need of promoting training actions in the teaching staff that favor self-esteem and self-concept, based on the motivation as axis to generate interaction processes between the self-confidence and the attention to the other as basic aspects to strengthen the student’s affectivity and their desire to learn. The aim, therefore, is to know the strengths and weaknesses of the formative reality of these professionals, reflecting on how to reduce these shortcomings, providing initiatives that favor processes of professional development and promoting learning based on the professional identity of the teacher.El objetivo de este estudio es determinar la situación actual de la formación de profesorado que trabaja en ámbitos de marginación. Tras revisar las investigaciones llevadas a cabo sobre el tema, se pone de manifiesto que no se atiende adecuadamente a aspectos de capital importancia, tales como: valorar la realidad del contexto de estudiantes que viven o están próximos a la exclusión. Se aborda la necesidad de potenciar acciones formativas en el profesorado que favorezcan la autoestima y el autoconcepto, partiendo de la motivación como ámbito para generar procesos de interacción entre la seguridad en uno mismo, la atención al “otro”, como aspectos básicos para fortalecer la afectividad de los estudiantes y su deseo de aprender. Se trata, pues, de conocer los puntos fuertes y débiles de la realidad formativo de estos profesionales, reflexionar sobre cómo mitigar estas carencias, aportar iniciativas para favorecer los procesos de desarrollo profesional y favorecer el aprendizaje en función de la identidad profesional del docente
