Les implications théoriques d'un choix d'items : de la norme d'internalité à la norme d'allégeance

Bence we may hypothesite thar on Cy the former are -by reason of their allegiance -the abjects of social valorization. To support this thesis, the standard model of self-preser: tatîon was used, bm with a questionnaire thar opposes externat responses to irllunal rebel res­ponses .ln keeping with the hypothesis, obser­vation of a studenr sample group has shawn that the subjects, when given supernonnative instructions, tum out more extemal than internai, whereas the reverse is true when they are given counternonnative instructions. Tt luis also been observed thal,given neutral ins­tructions, socially maladjusted individua[s, having badly inugrated the social norms (minor delinquents) are more internai than others (be they students, clerlcs,factory wor­ rs or executives).L'examen des études sur la nonne d'internalité peut conduire à penser qu 'il existe deux sortes d'internalité :l'allégeante (référant au courage, à la capacité de produire des efforts...) et la rebelle (renvoyant à la sournoiserie, à l'utilisation de la tricherie ...). Il est alors fair l'hypothèse que seule la premiè­re ur, de par son allégeance, l'objet d'une valorisation sociale. A l'appui de cette thèse, le paradigme classique de l'auroprésentation a été utilisé, mais avec un questionnaire oppo­sant réponses externes à réponses internes rebelles. Conformément à l'hypothèse, il est observé, sur une population d 'étudiants, qu'avec une consigne surnonnative les sujets se montrent plus externes qu 'internes,l'inver­se étant obtenu avec une consigne contrenor­mative.ll est également constaté qu 'avec une consigne neutre, les individus en rupture de société,ayant mal intégré les nonnes sociales (petits délinquants) sont plus internes que les autres (étudiants comme salariés, ouvriers ou cadres)
