Abstract This thesis aims to provide policy makers in Thailand with an evidence base for prioritizing interventions for major depression. The first objective was to determine adherence to antidepressant drugs for the treatment of major depression. The second objective was to identify an optimal set of treatments for major depression in Thailand based on cost-effectiveness analyses (CEA). The final objective was to make recommendations regarding the implementation of the most cost-effective interventions to address major depression in the context of Thailand’s health services.
