Purpose:The aim of this study is to examine how an organizational change within a Police department can be understood. By interviewing different employees within the organization, the study focus on understandings about the work of the change management. In the context of educational research, and with help of theories of change,this study explores how the individual can manage change by creating meaning of it. Questions:How do the employees explain the purpose of the new organizational structure and the allocation of resources?
