The drawing was commissioned by Sheffield Institute of Art for the Head Post Office site. The final work is the result of research from the collection of images of students studying at the art school. My research collated images of female students from the history of the art school. I was particularly fascinated by the images of women in the early years of the art school who were only able to study in the evenings and this work is the culmination of that fascination. The work is pencil on paper (100 x 70 cm)
