Analysis of area of Semberija and its vegetation cover in this work is done with the analysis of Landsat satellite image and it's processing in software program Idrisi. With one real colour composite and three false colour composites of different spectral channels were obtained different combinations of colours that represent state of this area. Also, through software Idrisi was analysed Normalized Difference Vegetation Index NDVI, that is used for analysing of damaged and ill vegetation. Results obtained with analysis of satellite images give us an insight into state of vegetation cover of the area of Semberija, and also possibilities for its improvement
