The aim of this work is to use agricultural wastes such as potato peels (PP) as an effective low-cost biosorbent for the removal of turquoise blue dye (TB) from aqueous solutions. Adsorption of the potato peels has been studied as a function of pH, initial dye concentration, particle size and contact time. The adsorption equilibrium was represented with Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. This study has resulted in the determination of the two types of adsorption isotherms: the Freundlich and the type I Langmuir adsorption isotherms.
