Primary prevention of atopic dermatitis in children

<p>Atopic dermatitis is a chronic recurrent skin disease accompanied by itching, dry skin, and eczematous inflammation. In some of 5—10% of patients, the disease is noted to be continuously recurrent, which causes considerable financial costs of treatment and may give rise to disability and dramatically worse quality of life. The review gives information on promising areas in the prevention of atopic dermatitis in children and analyzes the possibilities of their clinical application.
