The concept of renewable energy is increasing day by day because the electrical applications are moving towards utilization of renewable sources and due to this factor electric power is also gaining ground and new type of converters are modelled in order to get high utilization of renewable sources. In this paper, two types of multiport converters are presented which includes a DC-DC converter with a transformer attached and a DC-DC converter without a transformer. The converter with transformer is further subdivided into a full bridge and a half bridge DC-DC converter.
