This article has two parts. The first one explores the hermeneutic views of the Constitution Dei Verbum that seems to be strong enough to found the catholic theology on the solid interpretations of the Scriptures. The second part looks into history, since the illustration up to our days to find out the use of the Scripture made by Kant, Strauss, Renan, Engels, Kautsky and Clévenot. These authors bring forth paradigmatic examples of an use of the biblical texts through the context of the Revelation
