A field experiment was conducted in the net house of Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Sandakan from 12 April 2014 to 12 September 2014 to study the effect of high application rate of NPK incorporated with high rate of chicken manure on TR-9 rice variety growth and yield in Silabukan soil and to evaluate Silabukan soil nutrients (NPK, CEC, pH and organic matter) after application of NPK and chicken manure. The experimental design was completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications.
