Famiglia, presenza dei genitori e comportamenti devianti dei giovani in Italia: dati di una ricerca multicentrica effettuata tramite questionari self-report

The current study is based on an in-depth international survey named International Self-Report Delinquency Study 3, aimed at studying the relationship between family and juvenile delinquency behaviours. Specifically, we wondered if growing up in a family, althought reconstituted (where, however, there is the presence of a biological parent), is a protective factor from committimg deviant acts, compared to grow up in monoparental families or families "alternatives" where the roles of the caregivers were held by grandparents or relatives, or other adults (adoptive or foster parents). In the second phase of the study, it is analysed the family climate in which the young lives. This because as numerous international researches on the field have shown, a family climate rich in tensions and conflicts can have very often negative repercussions on the young, inducing him to set into be deviant actions. The data through which the opportune analyses have been done, have been given by the questionnaire administered to a sample of young students from 7th to the 9th grade, representative of the Italian juvenile population during the inquiry ISRD-3.
