Analysis of megakaryocyte maturation markers.

Markers of early myeloid (CD34) and mature megakaryocyte stage (CD41, CD42b) were evaluated by flow cytometry analysis, whereas the expression of COX-1 was assessed by western blotting analysis and quantification of immunoreactive bands normalized as a ratio to GAPDH expression.
