The purpose of the study was to determine whether the application of training methods in teaching Indonesian to improve students' reading skills loud public elementary school 11 Mempawah Hilir grade 1. Special Purpose (a) describe the increase in the ability of Indonesian students in learning by using a training method in class 1 Elementary School. (b) Describe the improvement of student learning outcomes as a result of training methods used in learning Indonesian in class 1 Elementary School. The method used in this study is the method in this study is diskripsi. TOD (Classroom Action Research). The nature of qualitative research is a method that is more emphasis on in-depth understanding of an issue for generalization research. Techniques and tools of data collection in this study is the technique of direct observation and direct observation sheet. Applying the method of training in the first cycle and second cycle that has been done by the researchers increased the activity of students in the first cycle % 153.36 % 183.90 % and the second cycle. The application of training methods impact on improving literacy outcomes loud in the first cycle average gain the average increased to 62.24 and 63.31 in the second cycle
