<p>At each taxonomic level, the number of sequences from a particular taxon using one sequencing strategy (e.g., V6 tags) is plotted against the number of sequences from that same taxon using a second sequencing strategy (e.g., full-length SSU rRNA genes). For instance, classifying to the genus level, the Clostridial genus <i>Ruminococcus</i> occurred 186 times in the full-length SSU rRNA sequences and 19,332 times in the V6 tags.
