Therapy with CFA leads to resolution of the pulmonary lesions in <i>P. brasiliensis</i>-infected mice.

<p><i>P. brasiliensis</i>-infected mice were treated with IFA (A, C and E) or CFA (B, D and F) 20 days postinfection. The lung sections obtained at day 30 after treatment were fixed in formalin, paraffin embedded, cut into 5 µm sections, stained with H&E (A–D) or Grocott (E and F), and analyzed by light microscopy.
