The example shown displays the abundance and distribution of Synechococcus spp. genome sequence in the selected sampling sites. The Synechococcus spp. genome coordinates are shown on the <i>x</i>-axis, while the <i>y</i>-axis shows the percent identity scores of the alignment to the selected Sargasso Sea and GOS sequence reads. The viewer incorporates metadata associated with the reads, allowing a user to quickly identify data of interest for further examination.
