<p>(A) and (B) illustrate a high prevalence, mature epidemic, similar to that of Malawi; (C) and (D) a smaller-scale epidemic (partner change rates one-third of those for the Malawi simulation). (A) and (C) introduce ART in 2010, before equilibrium for (A) and early in the epidemic for (C); (B) and (D) introduce ART in 2040, once equilibrium is reached for (B) and after the peak of the epidemic for (D).
