<i>P. gingivalis</i> LPS modulated the transcript expression of cell surface receptors and related co-molecules in HGFs.

<p><b>1.1.. </b><i>P. gingivalis</i> (Pg) LPS₁₆₉₀ (PgLPS₁₆₉₀) and LPS_1435/1449 (PgLPS_1435/1449) differentially modulated the mRNA expression of TLR2 (A), TLR4 (B), CD14 (C), LBP (D), MD2 (E) and MYD88 (F) mRNAs in the cellular fractions of HGFs in the dose-dependent assay (1 ng/ml to 10 µg/ml) for 24 h. <i>E. coli</i> LPS is used as a reference. <b>1.2.. </b><i>P. gingivalis</i> LPS and <i>E. coli</i> LPS upregulated the expression of TLR2 (A), TLR4 (B), MD2 (C) and MYD88 (D) transcripts in the cellular fractions of HGFs. HGFs were treated with <i>P. gingivalis</i> (Pg) LPS (PgLPS) and <i>E. coli</i> LPS at 1 µg/ml in the time-dependent assay for 2 to 48 h. After LPS stimulation, the harvested RNAs were subjected to quantitative real-time PCR, and the fold changes in gene expression relative to internal control β-Actin were quantified as shown in the graphs.
