<p>CagA and activated MAPK (ERK2) expression in <i>hcp</i> mutants, WT G27MA and uninfected AGS cells over the course of infection. A shift in the fluorescence to the upper right quadrant in AGS cells infected with either WT or <i>hcpC</i> or <i>hcpG</i> mutants compared with uninfected AGS cells indicates increased CagA and activated-MAPK expression after infection.
