Immunofluorescent localization of the mouse PRAMEL1 during early testis development.

<p>Cross-sections from 1-week (<b>a</b>–<b>e</b>), 2-week (<b>f</b>–<b>j</b>) and 3-week (<b>k</b>–<b>o</b>)-old mouse testes were stained with the mouse PRAMEL1 antibody. Although there was no specific signal observed across the seminiferous tubules in 1-week-old testis, specific staining (green) was observed in cytoplasm of spermatocytes (<b>f</b>, <b>h</b>) in 2-week-old testis and the perinuclear region of round spermatids (<b>k</b>, <b>m</b>) in 3-week-old testis. Panels <b>a</b>, <b>f</b>, <b>k</b> are the PRAMEL1 antibody staining. Panels <b>b</b>, <b>g</b> and <b>l</b> are counterstained with DAPI to visualize nuclei. Panels <b>c</b>, <b>h</b> and <b>m</b> are merged images for the PRAMEL1 and DAPI staining. The arrowheads point to an area with described signals.
