Hematopoietic cells from mice with a gain-of-function of Stat5 show a significant increase in the transcriptional activation of <i>Cyclin D1</i>.

<p>Quantitative real-time RT-PCR to assess the transcriptional activation of <i>Cyclin D1</i>, <i>Bcl2</i>, and <i>Cish</i> in bone marrow derived hematopoietic cells of experimental mice that express hyperactive Stat5 in the absence or presence of <i>Stat5a/b</i> hypomorphic alleles (MMTV-tTA TetO-Stat5 <i>Stat5^+/+</i> and MMTV-tTA TetO-Stat5 <i>Stat5</i>^{Δ<i>N/</i>Δ<i>N</i>}). Wildtype littermates (<i>Stat5^+/+</i> and Stat5 hypomorphic mutants (<i>Stat5</i>^{Δ<i>N/</i>Δ<i>N</i>}) served as controls.
