Analysis of some typical mutations in genes inducing suppression of frameshift mutations.

<p><b>a)</b>Monitored as the ability to suppress the <i>his</i>-allele the mutant was selected to suppress. Growth of mutants on a plate lacking His following and incubation at 37°C for 4–6 days.
