Minocycline inhibits IL-6 surge in stimulated ovarian cancer cell lines.

<p>(A) OVCAR-3, SKOV-3 and CAOV-3 cells were pre-treated with minocycline (100 µM) followed by stimulation with IL-1β (10 ng/ml) for different time points. Levels of IL-6 in the culture media were quantified by sandwich ELISA. Each data represent the mean ± SD from three independent experiments. (*<i>p</i><0.05, **<i>p</i><0.01 and ***<i>p</i><0.001 <i>vs.</i> control group, ^#p<0.05 and ^###<i>p</i><0.01 <i>vs.</i> IL-1β-stimulated group).
