<p>Following necropsy, colonic tumor tissue with adjacent colon epithelial tissue was formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded, and underwent histological sectioning. Tissue was stained with H&E (<i>A</i>). Compared to placebo, a dramatic decrease in size was noted in the tumors from rapamycin-treated mice.
