<p>Tumors with a diameter larger than 1 mm were measured weekly with calipers. Mice were exposed to 2240 J/m2 UVB three times weekly for 10 weeks followed by 15 weeks of topical C E Ferulic or vitamin E treatment. (A) Mice treated with C E Ferulic developed fewer tumors compared to mice treated with vehicle or vitamin E (*<i>p</i> = 0.0283). (B) At the end of the study, mice treated with C E Ferulic exhibited a 34% decrease in tumor burden that was not significant due to the outbred nature of this strain of mice. (C) Mice treated with vitamin E exhibited an increased growth rate compared to mice treated with vehicle or C E Ferulic that approached significance (<i>p</i> = 0.0649).</p
