The ATP-induced cytokine and chemokine secretion and neutrophil recruitment <i>in vivo</i> are partially dependent on caspase-1 and inflammasome activation.

<p>(<b>A, B and C</b>) ATP (50 mg/kg) injection promoted the secretion of IL-1β, KC and MIP-2. Ac-YVAD-cho (5 mg/kg) attenuated the secretion of IL-1β, KC and MIP-2 induced by ATP.
