Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Materi Pecahan dengan Alat Peraga Benda Konkrit

This research is motivated by , there are still problems that occurred during the study due to the ability of the material fractions of different students , lack of exercise and control , lack of conditioning the classroom teachers so that students did not understand what was ordered , the lack of ability in designing and implementing teacher learning , lack of guidance to the students , a lack of student interest in math , as students consider mathematics lessons scary , facilities and infrastructure or media used does not support the achievement of learning objectives . To overcome this gap is believed to be using the media props concrete objects in the learning of mathematics can further stimulate students' interest and motivation in the material fractions . The method used in this research is descriptive method , collaborative research , while research is a form of action research . Mechanical engineering research that is of direct observation and measurement techniques . The subjects in this study were teachers and students of class III Elementary School District 23 Senibung Melawi Sea . Students numbering 13 people , consisting of 8 boys and 5 girls . The experiment was conducted in the first semester of the month of September 2013 . Based on the description of the results of each cycle of use of media props concrete objects can improve student learning outcomes in the material fractions , which dapata seen in the average revenues resulted from initial observations to the second cycle . Based on the description above , in general the use of media props used concrete objects have been successful in improving student learning outcomes Kels III Elementary School 23 Senibung Sea . Thus props concrete objects is suitable to be applied during the process of learning mathematics to improve student learning outcome
