<p>Body weight for mature mice plotted versus skin thickness (<b>A</b>), stiffness (<b>B</b>) and elastic modulus (<b>C</b>). Linear regression (dotted lines) indicate that body weight is significantly correlated with skin thickness (r = 0.793, p-value<10<sup>−6</sup>), inversely correlated with skin stiffness (r = −0.717, p-value<10<sup>−3</sup>) and uncorrelated with modulus.
