<p>Adherent BAL cells cultured for 5–7 days were examined for the expression of membrane markers by the use of mAbs. Representative confocal micrographs showing BAL cells immunostained for CD14 (red) and CD18 (green). Nuclei are visualized by DRAQ5 (blue). Pictures are taken of wet samples using a 40X 1.2NA water immersion lens (mAbs; monoclonal antibodies).</p
