<p>After the injection of rapamycin and vecicle 30 min before trauma, the rats were sacrificed at 6 h after trauma. (A and B) The protein and mRNA levels of Beclin 1 and LC3 were detected. Beclin 1 and LC3 immunoreactivity were present as punctate pot (red) and the nucleus were stained with DAPI (blue). Compared with control-operated animals, trauma group showed decreased staining of Beclin 1 and LC3 6 h after injury. Treatment with rapamycin (RAPA) partially reversed nonlethal trauma-induced down-regulation of staining.</p
