<p>Values (arithmetic means ± s.e.m. of two independent biological experiments) are given relative to <i>HMA4</i> transcript levels in <i>A. thaliana</i> (<i>At</i>). Nucleic acids were extracted from leaves of vegetative plants, including <i>A. lyrata</i> (<i>Al</i>), grown on soil in a greenhouse.
