<p>Results are shown for species identified by aligning with novoalign against viral and microbial genomes and the human microbiome for the patient 1 colorectal carcinoma sample. Only reads were used that were not mapped to human sequences by ContextMap. Mismatch distributions are compared against the average mismatch distribution for the human genome derived from the ContextMap mapping. Number of reads mapped to each genome and are indicated in parentheses. The left–hand side shows results if multiple read alignments with the same maximum score to different species are allowed. The right–hand side shows the results for unique alignments only.</p
