Time schedule for tumor therapy in the animal experiments.

<p>After tumor induction with LMeC melanoma cells (5×10⁶ cells), mice were randomly divided into five groups. The control group was treated with a circumtumoral injection of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) (n = 4). The cisplatin and combination group were treated with intraperitoneal injection of low-dose cisplatin (2 mg/kg) (n = 4). The cAT-MSC-Mock, cAT-MSC-IFN-<i>β</i> and combination group were treated with a circumtumoral injection of each cAT-MSCs (5×10⁵) in PBS 3 times at 3 days interval. The size of each mass was measured every 3 days. Three days after the last injection, mice were sacrificed and tumor tissue was harvested for fluorescence microscopy analysis.
