<p>The sedimentation velocity analysis of BSA samples (1 mg/ml) which were held at 45°C for 3.5 h in the absence (A) or in the presence of α-crystallin (0.4 mg/ml; B). Sedimentation profiles were registered at 285 nm with 2.5 min intervals. Selected profiles obtained with 5 min intervals are shown in panels A and B. The rotor speed was 34000 rpm. (C) The differential sedimentation coefficient distributions ls-g*(<i>s</i>) for BSA (red dash line) and the mixture of BSA and α-crystallin (black solid line) were calculated from the data presented in panel A and B.</p
