Kajian Desain Sirkulasi Ruang dalam sebagai Sarana Evakuasi Kebakaran pada Bangunan Hotel Carrcadin Bandung

Hotels required higher safety standards due to several functions it contain, as well as building materials used throughout, that put it at higher risk to fire hazards. And since the functions and activities of a hotel are unique, there is a need to specify a clear and standardized system of evacuation in case of fire emergencies. Such system in Hotel Carrcadin Bandung was studied and descriptively analyzed for its design on circulation, zoning, evacuation routes, materials, fire safety equipments, as well as its emergency plans. Data gathered through interviews, observations, drawings and photographic documentation were then analyzed using relevant literature. The analysis showed that the circulation system had been design to serve daily activities during normal operation, but may as well used as evacuation path during fire emergencies because it also had been equipped with fire safety devices such as sprinklers and fire hydrants building (FHC)
